Purchasing an Extend Protection Plan is simple! Plans are displayed as offers on the product detail pages, as well as offers once the eligible item has been added to your cart.
You return your product, the retailer returns the money you paid for the protection plan. Depending on how much time has passed since your purchase, Extend will issue a pro-rated refund.

For mechanical or electrical failure, contact the manufacturer while you are still under the manufacturer warranty. After the manufacturer warranty expires, contact Extend.
