Filing a claim is simple.
Call Sleep Number at 877-557-3965 within thirty (30) days of the date of failure or breakage so you can get back to a better night's sleep.
If you purchased your protection plan after March 22, 2026:
Sleep Easy Extended Protection
5 years of enhanced protection. Mattresses are covered in case of accidental damage such as punctures, rips, and burns starting on day one. Extended coverage for mechanical and electrical failure for years 3-5 of your plan.
If you purchased your protection plan before March 22, 2026:
Sleep Number® Protection
3 years of enhanced protection. Mattresses are covered in case of accidental damage such as punctures, rips, and burns starting on day one. Extended coverage for mechanical and electrical failure starts after Year 1 of the manufacturer's limited warranty.

Why should I add a protection plan?
Extend protects in case of accidental damage starting on day one, and provides extended coverage for mechanical and electrical failure for years 3-5 after the expiration of the manufacturer's warranty.
What happens after I file a claim?
After your claim is approved, Sleep Number will send you a replacement part. A technician may come to your home to install the part if the part cannot be self-installed.
Can I cancel my protection plan?
Call 877-557-3965 to cancel.
What if I need to return my Sleep Number® product?
If you return your product, Sleep Number will return the amount you paid for the plan. Depending on how much time has passed since your purchase, you may receive a prorated refund, less any paid claims.
