Paul Nielsen, Chris Gardner To Help Better Meet Surging Demand for Online Video Delivery Platforms
BOSTON MA - (August 7, 2007) - ExtendMedia Corporation (www.extend.com) announced that it has added two seasoned executives to its management team. Paul Nielsen, vice president of sales for content distribution, and Chris Gardner, chief marketing officer, each bring nearly 20 year of experience in digital media sales and marketing at leading firms including SeaChange International (Nasdaq: SEAC) and VeriSign (Nasdaq: VRSN). The additions allow ExtendMedia to accelerate its growth in sales to content providers, telecom/cable providers, and retailers who are eager to better monetize and control their online video businesses.

Paul Nielsen
Paul comes to ExtendMedia with over 20+ years of experience in sales and sales management. Most recently, he was vice president of sales for the Americas at SeaChange International where he was responsible for all broadband product sales to CATV and Telco operators in Canada, US, Mexico, Central and South America. In his over 12 years at SeaChange, he held a variety of senior sales management and technical roles. Paul also held marketing, sales and technical management roles at Harbor Software and Lotus Development Corporation.
Paul attended the University of Massachusetts - Amherst, majoring in Computer and Information Science. He is based in ExtendMedia's Newton MA headquarters.
Chris Gardner
Chris Gardner has 16 years of in-depth expertise in high-technology marketing and product management including wireless, digital content, customer self-service, e-billing, document management and speech recognition sectors. Most recently, Chris was the senior vice president of products and marketing at m-Qube, an enabler of mobile content commerce which was acquired by Verisign in 2006. Before that, Chris was the vice president of marketing at edocs Inc. (acquired by Siebel Systems) and OmniBrowse, Inc., (acquired by Microsoft). He also served in a variety of marketing and product management roles at PC DOCS, the Gartner Group and Dragon Systems.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He also is based in ExtendMedia's Newton MA offices.
