Keith Kocho, President & Founder

Boston, MA

Keith founded ExtendMedia (then Digital Renaissance) in 1991, and brings to the company his 15 years of executive experience in a startup / high growth environment. Under his leadership, the company has been recognized for numerous awards including The Fast 50, Canada's Fastest Growing Companies, Profit 100, and others, and he has personally received such awards as the BDC's Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Keith was named the "Emerging Executive of the Year" by the Mass Technology Leadership Council in 2007. He has been an advisor to Apple Computer, consultant to leading telecommunications and technology companies such as Intel, IBM and Microsoft, and has served on the advisory boards of several Colleges and Universities. In addition, Keith has spearheaded ExtendMedia's many strategic content relationships, including partnerships with CAA and Zifferin/Brittenham. His industry roles have included board participation on ITAC, CANARIE and the Canadian Film Centre. Prior to starting the company, Keith co-developed the first PC-based offline video editing system, EnSuite, in 1990. He is a graduate of Ryerson University with a degree in Radio and Television Arts.

Marty Meyer, Chief Operating Officer

Boston, MA

Marty brings 20 years of high-tech experience in finance, engineering and operations with both fast-growing startups and established technology companies. He is responsible for finance, human resources, legal and business affairs at ExtendMedia. Before joining ExtendMedia Marty was CFO & COO of Bowstreet a provider of enterprise portal software solutions. Marty helped lead the company's successful acquisition by IBM in December of 2005. Prior to joining Bowstreet, Marty was CFO with Ucentric Systems, a provider of networked DVR software services, where his leadership was key to its acquisition by Motorola. As Ucentric's CFO, Marty was also responsible for overall financial planning and the company's relationship with the investment and financial communities. Marty's background also includes CFO and operations roles at SightPath, Inc. and Xedia Corporation. At SightPath, he managed the merger and acquisition negotiations, due diligence, and legal processes during the Cisco acquisition. Marty was also the CFO and Vice President of Operations at Xedia Corporation, which was acquired by Lucent Technologies in 1999. He has held various finance and engineering positions at Cisco Systems, Lucent Technologies, Stratus Computer, and Raytheon. Marty holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from Babson College, and has participated as a guest lecturer at both Harvard Business School and Babson College.

Chris Gardner, Chief Marketing Officer

Boston, MA

Chris Gardner is responsible for ExtendMedia's corporate marketing and product management initiatives. With 16 years in high-technology marketing and product management, his background spans a variety of technology areas including wireless, digital content, customer self-service, e-billing, document management and speech recognition. Most recently, Chris was the SVP of Products and Marketing at m-Qube, an enabler of mobile content commerce that was acquired by Verisign in 2006. He was also the Vice President of Products and Marketing at edocs, Inc., a venture-backed e-billing and customer self-service company that was subsequently acquired by Siebel Systems. Before that, Chris was the Vice President of Marketing at OmniBrowse, Inc., and led the launch of its wireless portal that provided real-time data services to wireless devices. OmniBrowse was sold to Microsoft and became part of MSN Mobile. Chris also served as Product Manager for internet technologies at PC DOCS, as a product manager at Gartner Group and as Corporate Communications Manager at Dragon Systems, a leading speech recognition technology provider. Chris received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Neil Black, Chief Technical Officer

Toronto, Canada

As CTO, Neil is responsible for the technical direction of ExtendMedia's products and services as well as managing relationships with key technical partners and clients. Neil brings over 25 years experience in software development for the interactive media industry to his role as CTO. He joined ExtendMedia in 1999 where his technical direction has been brought to bear for such leading clients as Sony, Bell Canada, MTS/Allstream, Cablevision, and World Wrestling Entertainment. Prior to joining ExtendMedia, he spent 3 years as a consultant to CGI Group, specializing in Internet/intranet solutions to the Bell Canada group of companies, and 15 years as President and Director of Technical Services at Image Base, a firm he founded in 1981 to develop consumer-focused, online interactive services and applications for such clients as Hertz, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, British Airways, Nynex and Bell Canada.

Todd Hinders, SVP Business Development and Sales

San Francisco, CA

Todd Hinders brings extensive experience in digital media software, syndication, distribution services, and digital asset management to his role as SVP Business Development and Sales for ExtendMedia. Prior to ExtendMedia Hinders was Vice-President of Sales & Business Development for Maven Networks. In this role he was responsible for bringing to market their first customer deployments including National Geographic, Sony Pictures, EMI Records, Pepsi, A&E, and Atom Films. Hinders also oversaw Maven's international expansion into Japan, Korea and China opening up reseller and direct customer relationships in each geography. Previously, Todd was senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Loudeye Corporation, where he led the market introduction and rapid growth of digital media and corporate communications products and services. Todd joined Loudeye from NeTpower, Inc., a Silicon Graphics spin-off, where he was group manager for the Digital Media System Group. In this role, Todd brought to market the first line of graphics workstations, encoding systems and video servers specifically designed for media streaming applications in the broadcast, media and entertainment industries. Todd holds a BSC degree in Behavioral Psychology from the University of the Pacific.
